A cover of Jah9's 'Humble Mi' in an afrobeat style.
Humble me more and more
The heights just a brow and the bliss just a show
And it humble me more and more
The more that I learn show the little that I know
And it humble me more and more
The truth sets me free and encourages me
As it humble me more and more
Humble me more and more
There is so much to fear they say, so many unknowns
There are those who would scorch the face of the earth
In a selfish game of thrones
Some have learned of the mysteries
And are forcing the world to comply, but give thanks
The source of the sacred is encoded in I and I
When I tune into the frequency
None of the stains of adversity
Distract from the real I know
Of the Power I'm connected to
Yes it just a humble me more and more
The heights just a brow and the bliss just a show
And a humble me more and more
The more that I learn show the little that I know
And it humble me more and more
The truth sets me free and encourages me
As it humble me more and more
Humble me more and more
I used to be so sure of things then life began to change
The world becomes a smaller place
An overcrowded stage
Ambition is the overkill but I am not it's slave
So I take away to take a breath and fit how I behave
As I let go of the expectations
I start to feel everything go dark
A new found sense finds its activation
Blazing wild fire from I heart
One mind ignited finds its way
And everything following is even greater
All I thought I knew melts away
When clay becomes creator
It just a humble me more and more
The heights just a brow and the bliss just a show
And it humble me more and more
The more that I learn show the little that I know
And it humble me more and more
The truth sets me free and encourages me
As it humble me more and more
Humble me more and more
It just a humble me
Oh it just a humble me
More and more

Producer Anthony Cambra reached out to me on Reddit after hearing my first single 'Sailing On'. This was our first collaboration. Anthony wrote and produced the song with the working title 'Heating Up', which made me think of climate change and the state of our relationships to one another and our planet. I wrote the lyrics and recorded the vocals, as well as the saxophone solo on the bridge. I look forward to collaborating with Anthony on more songs in the future and am excited to share them with you all.
The whole world is heating up
While we consume more than we could ever need, fueling the economy
The whole world is heating up
We produce unnatural chemistry, killing off our fellow beings
The whole world is heating up
Divided though we need to face reality, headed for the tragedy
The whole world is heating up
And it’s about time we say enough, time we say enough-nough
Why do they want this?
I’m afraid that the only thing they see is their profits
They’ve all gone and lost it
Or they’ve never cared and that’s what makes me fear we cannot stop this
They use us to deliver their goal
Complacency is always such a sweet thing
While we watch our future unfold
Convinced we shouldn’t try to do a damn thing
Now, I’m not saying that we don’t deserve to dream and hope and live
Beyond the basic state we face and have been given
Factory farming, throw away garments, cooling the house while fanning the flames
Earth is fed up, she been bled up, burn her and we’ll burn the same
Lacking in spirit, I don’t wanna hear it, we know all the things we should change and it’s critical
Mother will leave us behind if we fail to grow up, she’ll be fine, but it’s pitiful, pitiful
Seeing the evidence, got the intelligence, time to stop denying that
We owe it to the universe to nurture life she’s crying cuz the

A cover of 'You Are My Sunshine' with intro and verse from 'This Train' by Bob Marley. Both songs mean a lot to me, and I've been toying with the idea of this medley for some 10 years. Dedicated to all the mamas who sang this to their kids, all the kids who had this song sung to them by their mama, and all those who have experienced love and love lost.
When I was just a kid
My mama used to sing this song
Now I've grown to be a man
It still lingers deep within my soul
I said it lingers deep within my soul
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy, when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
The other night, dear, as I lay sleeping
I dreamt I held you in my arms
When I awoke, dear, I was mistaken
So I bowed my head and I cried
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy, when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
Now I am a man
I remember my mama's song
And the feeling that it gives
Still lingers deep within my soul
I said it lingers deep within my soul
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy, when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
I've always loved you, and made you happy
And nothing else could come between
But now you've left me, to love another
You have shattered all my dreams
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy, when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away
You are my sunshine, my only sunshine
You make me happy, when skies are grey
You'll never know, dear, how much I love you
Please don't take my sunshine away

This is my first single released as Well Grounded, though I originally wrote and performed it some 20 years ago. I did all of the arrangement, recording, vocals, mixing, and mastering.
It seems the world is just a prison bus
the captives is all us, and now it starts to rust
The very seats to which we are bound to
are starting to fall through, so all them friends fight and argue
And even though we’re now on rocky road
we can still love our home, ‘cause it’s both ugly and beautiful
Now, at this intersection we do idle, to stop and plan a while
then we’ll be rolling on
Then we’ll be rolling on
It seems the world is just a pirate ship
you see we’re set adrift, and all the sails is ripped
The very deck to which we are bound to
is starting to rot through, so all them souls drown or call on you
And now the boom swings strong, from side to side
up rages, you, the tide, to swallow our foolish pride
‘Nuff little children have fallen overboard, I cry out to you, lord
so I’ll be sailing on
So I’ll be sailing on
Don’t try to hide or hesitate
yeah, you can cry or celebrate
‘cause what’s inside is everything
I’ll be outside, it’s time to leave
We gotta smile in spite of pain
we’re rolling on beyond the veil
I’m feeling hope if anything
I’m sailing on to brighter days
